About Our Company

Gussiaas Family Farm, Inc., located in Carrington, North Dakota, is a third generation farm that is family owned and operated. Our 4,500 acre farm produces many of crops including wheat, barley, soybeans, sunflowers, flax, and borage. Our rich, fertile North Dakota soils are a key to producing exceptional food products.

Healthy Oilseeds is a subsidiary of Gussiaas Family Farm, Inc. that began exporting oilseeds in 2002. At the present time we export both organic and non-organic golden and brown flax, as well as borage. We are a licensed and bonded grain buyer that contracts with North Dakota farmers to grow both flax and borage. The first product that we exported was borage to a small company in Spain. We currently export to a wide array of countries across the globe including Canada, Kazakhstan, Poland, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, and Taiwan.

We have plans to offer more products in the future. As well as adding value by processing the food products to make them closer to consumers' demands.
